My name is Kelly Lusk and I have served as a superintendent since 2013. I started my career in education in the fall of 1990 coaching baseball at the junior college level. Beginning in 1992, I taught 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th grade Texas History, American History, Western Civilization and Gifted/Talented. I served as an elementary principal, junior high principal and high school principal from 1999 until 2013. I also served the district in various other capacities while a principal, including coaching cross country and serving as transportation director.
My wife Schelli and I have four children. Andrew graduated from Stephen F. Austin University (Go Lumberjacks!) with a degree in History. Mathew is a former Chaparral having graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a degree in Mathematics, and he is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Engineering at Texas Tech. Guns up! Kaitlin Marie is a Viking and attends Grayson College. Zachary is a Tom Cat freshman at Tom Bean High School.
I truly love spending time with young people and the educators that guide them. My goal is to make a positive difference in the life of your child. I am here to serve this community. Please do not ever hesitate to contact me with any questions.
