Tom Bean ISD teachers and administrators would like all parents and community members to have access to our curriculum documents. These documents are provided by grade and subject area. Just click on the appropriate box and you will be able to see the state standards, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), that are taught. These documents are continually evolving and being updated as teachers working on multilevel teams determine what is the most effective way to teach our students.

If you would like further information or have questions about any specific course and/or grade level, please contact the teacher of the course and she/he will be happy to visit with you about course and/or grade level expectations and your own student’s progress.

Each content area on each grade level K-12 has learning objectives, teks. The state of Texas aligned the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills to National Standards. We use charts called TEKS Managers in order to insure instruction of the state curriculum.
