Our staff is constantly improving the
curriculum so that it is articulated from the 12th grade down to the
Kindergarten classrooms and coordinated within content areas and grade
levels. The curriculum encompasses what we want students to know and be able
to do after a specific course of study. The Texas Essential Knowledge and
Skills (TEKS) provide the
roadmap for Texas schools and educators are charged with the responsibility
of guiding students on their personal journey in grades K-12. For more

The mission of the
Tom Bean Library Media Program is to provide opportunities for students
and staff to become effective users of ideas and information through the
integration of information skills and curricula.
