Regular Board Meeting
October 15, 2007
Members Present: David Harrison, James Tidwell, Jim Bono, Kim Jones, Joe Jaska, Kristi Donaldson, Marc Wetzel and Superintendent Dr. Jerry Stout

President David Harrison called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and asked Jim Bono to open the meeting with the invocation.
The presentations of plaques by the Board President to the Students of the Month for October were made to:
· Elementary School Student, Danielle Rigsbay, who was introduced by Elementary School Teacher, Ms. Penny Lacy
· Middle School Student, Kaylen Goss, who was introduced by Middle School Teacher, Ms. Connie Porter
· High School Student, Bridgette Presson, who was introduced by the High School Teacher, Mr. Jason Matherly
The public meeting for the State Financial Accountability Rating was held. No public comments.
The concession building by the Ag Boosters was discussed. Marc Wetzel made the motion to approve the construction in the amount of $2,750.00. Jim Bono seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).
Public Comments:
· Debbie Mitchell – SAT and Athletic Scheduling issues
Joe Jaska made the motion to approve the consent items and Kim Jones seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).

The Textbook Adoption Committee was presented. James Tidwell made the motion to approve Dr. Jerry Stout, Eric Hough, Paula Cavender, Jan Woods, Jessica Adams, Lisa Courtney, Penny Lacy, Amy McLain, Gabby Probst, and Becky Shires as the Textbook Adoption Committee and to add Melody Slaton to the committee. Kristi Donaldson seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).
The board then discussed the 4-H Resolution. James Tidwell made the motion to approve the 4-H Resolution as presented. Jim Bono seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).
Update 81 was presented. Jim Bono made the motion to adopt Update 81 as presented. Kristi Donaldson seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).
The TASB Employee Benefits Resolution was presented. Joe Jaska made the motion to approve The TASB Employee Benefits Resolution as presented. James Tidwell seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).
The Superintendent presented his report.

c. Campus and Director Reports – Roger Ellis presented a report on discipline, Dewitt Smith and Eric Hough presented newsletters to the board.
There being no further business, Mr. Harrison adjourned the meeting at 9:00 p.m.
