President David Harrison called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and asked James Tidwell to open the meeting with the invocation.
The public forum for the Campus/District Report Card was held. No public comments.
The presentations of plaques by the Board President to the Students of the Month for October were made to:

· Elementary School Student, Kendal Britton, who was introduced by Elementary School Teacher, Ms. Tabethia Griffin
· Middle School Student, Travis Hill, who was present but was introduced by Middle School Principal, Mr. Dewitt Smith.
· High School Student, Colten Miller, who was introduced by the High School Teacher, Mr. Bill Ramsey

· Middle School Student, Logan LeDane, who was introduced by Middle School Teacher, Ms. Amy White.

Kim Jones made the motion to approve the consent items and Joe Jaska seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).

The Alternative TAKS Testing Schedule Waiver was presented. James Tidwell made the motion to approve the Alternative TAKS Testing Schedule Waiver as presented. Jim Bono seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).
The board then discussed the Innovative Course Application Renewal for Diversified Career Preparation I & II. Marc Wetzel made the motion to approve the Innovative Course Application Renewal for Diversified Career Preparation I & II as presented. Joe Jaska seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0).
The Administrative Procedures for Employee Fingerprinting was presented. No action was taken.
The District Awards for Teacher Excellence Grant was presented. Marc Wetzel made the motion to withdraw from the District Awards for Teacher Excellence Grant. Kristi Donaldson seconded the motion. James Tidwell abstained from the vote. The motion passed (6-0).
The Superintendent presented his report.
